The work of Anne-Jan Reijn is about the perception of danger and plays with the expectations and the comfort of the spectator. Balancing between conceptual art and performative installations, the work of Reijn places the audience in a direct confrontation with risk. His work draws beauty from these highly dynamic situations and at the same time plays with the social aspects related to these risks.
